Connect Grid systems
Ecophon Connect grid systems are available in various lengths and modules, and in three standard colours. Other NCS colours and special lengths and modules, etc., are available to special order.
The Connect T24 Main runner HD offers higher bending stiffness and strength compared to ordinary main runners. It is, for example, used with edge Ds and Dg to ensure these systems meet high demands for strength and precision.
For areas requiring greater resistance to corrosion, the Connect grid system is available in corrosivity categories C3 and C4 in accordance with ISO 12944-2.
To achieve a three-dimensional ceiling, one of the Ecophon curved suspended ceilings is recommended. The curved profiles, combined with curved absorbers, offer new opportunities both in the use of the space above the suspended ceiling and for the interior's visual impact. types of trims or channel trims can be used where the ceiling meets the wall.

Connect Installation details
Tiles sometimes have to be fixed into the grid system in some way. One option is to use one of the Connect hold-down clips, the Universal clip, which is available for all tiles.
An example of a clip with a different function is the Ecophon Connect Light fitting clip, which is ideal for use when fixing suspended light fittings, signs or similar to the T-profile.
One of the Connect Splines can be used to maintain the level of tiles that meet with no cross tee. The same applies to the transition in a corner between two shadow channel trims, where a Connect External corner should be used.

Connect Fixing devices
It is essential to select a fixing that withstands the loadings involved and to ensure that the fixing is the correct one for the structure. Furthermore, when selecting fixings, consideration must be given to the corrosion resistance requirements. The Connect range includes a comprehensive screw programme designed for suspended ceiling installations. The Connect range also includes adhesive as an alternative fixing method, e.g. for Ecophon Focus B.
Connect Suspensions
Ecophon carries a wide range of suspension solutions such as wire hangers for free hanging units, direct fixing brackets, adjustable hangers in different designs etc. The suspensions selected must be able to carry the suspended ceiling and the additional live loads with a good safety margin against breaking. Installations according to Ecophon installation diagrams fulfil these demands.

Connect Perimeters
Connect offers various perimeter solutions for free hanging ceilings. This involves free hanging units as well as ceilings installed with a distance from the wall. Depending on aesthetics, chosen system and budget, different solutions are offered.

Wood perimeter is a basic solution for creating a frame around a free hanging unit/ceiling. The perimeter can be used for 15, 20 and 40 mm absorbers. |
