A focus on the team and UK’s business growth

Andy’s role is to work with and manage a team of Area Sales Managers throughout Northern England & Scotland.

“What I like best about my job is that, in my position I can put my skills and experiences gained from my previous positions at Ecophon to good use by helping, advising and developing our current sales people and the customers within their regions.

The role is varied and sometimes pressurized, but I take great satisfaction and love that I am able to support others whilst having a greater influence on our business and its future growth within the market place.

Now, after quite a few years at the company, I can see and also understand how each part of the journey prepared me for the next. My aim is to continue learning and gathering knowledge and experience so that I can contribute something new and valuable to the company as I develop.

I feel that I have improved my knowledge and skills a great deal, thanks to support from the company and from my colleagues. For instance, being part of an international organization and culture has inspired me to take on the challenge of studying new languages, first French and soon Spanish too. Apart from being a hobby, I hope this will give me the possibility of communicating more easily with my international colleagues and customers in the future.

I like being part of the Ecophon culture. Being in an international environment means that you get a better understanding and acceptance for new ideas and that there are usually many different ways of tackling a task.”
