Ecophon Solo™ can be combined with several different types of integrated luminaire. These can be suspended separately, or Ecophon Solo™ can support their weight. Where the top of Ecophon Solo™ is visible we recommend care when selecting a luminaire so that there is no unnecessary light leakage from openings on the top of the luminaire.  

 

Ecophon Solo™ is 40 mm thick and this needs to be taken into account when selecting a recessed luminaire. Luminaires with a flange are a convenient solution as the edges of the hole are covered, retaining the character of Ecophon Solo™.

Suspended luminaires are often suitable for higher ceilings. If the load is not borne by the unit itself, suspended installations allow greater freedom when choosing a luminaire. If that is the case pull switches can be used in the unit.

Using luminaires suspended through Ecophon Solo™ provides functional and decorative workplace lighting solutions.

Ecophon Solo™ can be used as the basis for 3D installations. By using Ecophon Solo™ in different formats, levels and angles, the ceiling can become a focal point.

 

By adding lighting the impact of the free-hanging units is even more striking. The only limit is your own imagination!
