SoundCircularity™ is the Ecophon circular service offering, designed to support the recycling and reuse of eligible Ecophon acoustic ceiling products. We continue to develop these services with partners across the value chain as part of our work on circularity.
We collect eligible used glass wool ceiling panels and sort the material for recycling into new construction materials. The service is currently available in seven countries.

Launched in Sweden in 2024, the Reuse service collects eligible used ceiling panels for quality assessment. Panels that meet the defined requirements can then be offered for use in new projects.

Choose quality-assessed Reused Ecophon panels as an alternative to newly manufactured panels. Demounted panels collected through our SoundCircularity™ Reuse service are carefully selected and made available for new construction projects. Ecophon Sweden and Ecophon France (and soon Ecophon Germany) currently operate fully established reuse programs and offer Reused panels for purchase.
The ReFAB project was initiated in 2022 and carried out together with The Loop Factory, LINK Arkitektur, Design by Johanson, Decibel, LogTrade Technology and Lund University. The aim was to optimise the construction industry's use of resources through new forms of collaboration and circular business models.
Through the project, the partnership has successfully demonstrated how materials previously considered waste can be given new life in commercially viable products. The Second Chance series is a concrete example of how innovation, design and sustainability can be combined to reduce resource consumption and contribute to a more circular construction and interior design sector.
