Acoustic comfort supporting the dining experience

Restaurant Mezcla is a small, intimate lunch restaurant with strong culinary identity, combining French, Spanish and South American influences. With only 35 seats in a compact dining area, sound comfort quickly became a key factor for both guests and staff.

As the restaurant gained popularity, noise levels increased and conversations became difficult, particularly during busy lunch services. The objective was clear: to improve acoustic comfort without altering the character of the space or disrupting daily operations.

To address the challenge, Ecophon Solo™ Circle elements were installed on the ceiling in a contrasting black-and-white layout. The solution provides effective sound absorption while reinforcing the restaurant’s refined and contemporary interior expression. The installation was completed quickly and outside opening hours.

The result is a noticeably calmer sound environment, supporting clear conversation and improving comfort for both diners and staff. Regular guests immediately experienced the difference, contributing to a more welcoming and balanced dining atmosphere.
