McAdam Design has previously integrated Ecophon Solo™ Triangle solutions into projects at Ulster University’s Games Design and Development Suite. To ensure consistency across the campus, we collaborated extensively with the main contractor, Bell Contracts, and the installer, ROC’S Contracts. Our objective was to install the Solo Triangle panels around the mechanical and electrical elements at a uniform height, maintaining alignment with the lighting fixtures and achieving a precise fit.

Our technical team supported this project from initial design through a customised installation method to promote ease and precision during the process, working closely with ROC’S Contracting installers via calls and onsite collaboration to identify an effective solution. The incorporation of coloured Solo Triangle panels has significantly enhanced the room, introducing warmth and vibrancy to the environment.

In addition to the vibrant ceiling design in the classroom, the acoustic comfort was also prioritised in adjacent circulation areas. Ecophon Focus™ E was installed in the corridors to ensure consistent sound absorption throughout the space, creating a calm, welcoming environment for students and staff.
