Ecophon wins international design award

Ecophon’s new acoustic ceiling system Master Eg wins the prestigious German Design Awards 2022 in the category ”Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements”.
Acoustic ceiling system Ecophon Master™ Eg combines inventive design with an efficient contribution to a better sound environment. The ceiling is of absorption class A, tailored for open plan offices and other facilities with high demands on good acoustics.
– Master Eg has been installed in offices all over the world since its launch this spring. Architects have welcomed the possibility of combining first-class sound environment with innovative design. We are proud that the German Design Council also recognises our contribution to the international design scene, says Stefan Dahl Malmborg, Communication Manager at Ecophon.
Both the upper part of the acoustic panel edges and the grids are painted in black, creating an exclusive free-floating appearance. The panels are available in four different formats and 22 colours, allowing architects to be creative and form their own patterns.
German Design Awards is organised by the German Design Council, a leading forum working globally to promote pioneering design. Entries are judged by an international jury made up of leading experts from all disciplines of design.
The renowned prize is awarded to products and projects that have demonstrated a high level of competence in design innovation and a sharp focus on the demands of their own customers and the market.
