We are committed to achieving net-zero emissions across our value chain by 2050, in line with Saint-Gobain's commitment to its science-based targets.

We are taking measurable action across our operations and value chain against defined indicators. Our reporting identifies our progress and areas where further action is needed.

 

Our approach

We aim to communicate our progress clearly and support our environmental claims with reliable data. At product level, we use independently verified information, including EPDs, where available.

Achievements to be proud of

We track our progress through measurable sustainability targets and transparent reporting. Key results for 2025 include:

  • -79% in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to 2017
  • Direct operational emissions at our Hyllinge production site reached zero in 2024 following the retirement of the last fossil-fuel-powered forklift
  • -20% in non-recycled industrial waste compared to 2017

Saint-Gobain Group 2030 objectives

  • Scope 1 and 2 emissions: -33% compared to 2017
  • Scope 3 (value chain) emissions: -16% compared to 2017
  • Non-recycled industrial waste: -80% compared to 2017
  • Industrial water withdrawal: -50% compared to 2017
  • EPD coverage: 100%
