Right by the river in Gothenburg, the new landmark Platinan was ready for occupancy in 2022. The spectacular building houses offices, a hotel, restaurants, coworking areas and a gathering place for the citizens of Gothenburg. The 60,000 m² and 18 floors building is certified with Leed Platinum and is designed by Erik Giudice Arkitekter.

In this project, Ecophon has delivered a total of five different types of acoustic ceilings to be able to meet the needs of such a large building - Focus A, Focus E, Master E, Combison Uno, Hygiene A. Five different colours, and recycled, newly printed material from the house that was demolished in favor of Platinan.

Suspended ceiling contractor Nordisol and PEAB have collected waste material from suspended ceilings and wall absorbers that have been recycled into new building material via our recycling service SoundCircularity™.
