Which one you should use depends on:
- the ceiling system
- the fixing solution
- how big load the panel can carry
Suspended luminaires
Suspended luminaires can be used for all Ecophon suspended ceiling and direct fixing installations. When using suspended luminaires for suspended ceilings, we recommend using Connect Light fitting clip when installing the luminaire to the grid system with a wire.
Downlights
Downlights can be used for all Ecophon suspended ceilings, but please note that the panels can only carry small loads. You can learn more about this in the Mechanical properties section. We recommend using Connect Bridging for downlights, since this unique solution transfers the weight of the luminaire to the grid system, meaning that there will be no loads on the panel.
Recessed luminaires
Recessed luminaires can be used on all Ecophon suspended ceilings, but it´s crucial to choose a luminaire that fits the ceiling type (see recommendations below).
