Ecophon ceiling system wins international design award

Ecophon’s acoustic ceiling system Ecophon Master™ Eg wins the ICONIC AWARDS, an internationally respected design award presented by the German Design Council. The award honours holistic projects in the fields of architecture, interior architecture and product design.
A jury of international experts has selected Master Eg as the winner of ICONIC AWARDS 2022: Innovative Architecture, for its innovative contribution to international design. Master Eg is one of Ecophon’s many systems developed to improve indoor environment, health and wellbeing.
The award-winning acoustic ceiling system is a contemporary and versatile acoustic system, providing creative freedom for architects and interior designers. Master Eg is suitable for indoor environments that require first class sound absorption, such as open-plan offices and other facilities with challenging sound environments.
It is designed with a two-colour edge, where the upper part is painted black and conceals the supporting tile edges, creating a distinctive floating appearance. Available in 22 colours, the ceiling system can be tailored to suit any premise and architectural preference. Four supporting edges make the system easy to install and demount.

Master Eg is awarded the ICONIC AWARDS 2022: Innovative Architecture in the category PRODUCTS – Wall / Floor / Ceiling. The award will be officially announced during the award ceremony on the 5 October 2022 at the BMW Welt on the occasion of Expo Real in Munich.
