Sörmland County Council commissioned NCC to build a new healthcare building at Nyköping hospital, including a new entrance. The new entrance fits well into the environment and will be a major boost for the entire hospital and is approximately 10,000 m2.

The new healthcare building covers approximately 12,000 m2 and is being constructed on eight floors next to the old entrance to Nyköping hospital. The building will house the hospital's new two-level main entrance with a café and pharmacy.

The N55 healthcare building will also house an MRI unit, wards and a test centre. The building will be linked to the existing buildings of the hospital and will be a very important hub for the hospital, both for visitors, staff and operations. The classification of the entrance building is Miljöbyggnad Gold, as it is built with sustainable materials.
